■About Shiki Shuzo

The headquarters located in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, is characterized by moderate humidity due to rain and snow, as well as fertile land that brings abundance. Particularly, the significant temperature difference between day and night, symbolized by the “Tamba fog” that occurs from autumn to winter, creates excellent conditions for the growth of delicious crops such as black soybeans, matsutake mushrooms, and rice.

The substantial temperature variation also has a very positive impact on the maturation of whisky.

With a deep appreciation for the rich nature and history of Tamba City, we pour our passion into whisky-making day and night, aiming to express these elements in new ways.
