■About WWA
The WWA, which was announced this time, is a prestigious whisky tasting event that has been held in the United Kingdom since 2001 and has earned great trust from whisky enthusiasts and manufacturers around the world.
Products entered from various countries undergo rigorous blind tasting evaluations, and awards are only presented to outstanding products.

At Shiki Shuzo’s first participation in this event, all products received awards and high praise, marking a very auspicious start. However, as a relatively new distillery, we will continue to strive diligently every day to deliver beverages that are beloved by everyone, without becoming complacent.

■About Shiki Shuzo
The headquarters located in Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture, is characterized by moderate humidity due to rain and snow, as well as fertile land that brings abundance. Particularly, the significant temperature difference between day and night, symbolized by the “Tamba fog” that occurs from autumn to winter, creates excellent conditions for the growth of delicious crops such as black soybeans, matsutake mushrooms, and rice.

The substantial temperature variation also has a very positive impact on the maturation of whisky.

With a deep appreciation for the rich nature and history of Tamba City, we are dedicated to expressing them in new ways. Leveraging the expertise acquired through our OEM business, we devote ourselves passionately to whisky production day and night.
